I heard that a new iMac will be published. With a new 19 tft screen! That would be nice.

What about the G5 thing?

Thanx for a quick response!

    The real question is not when it is published, but when it is printed.

    Steve gets away all the time with publishing a product now, and printing it several months later.

    what the f*ck are all these crazies talking about!?!?!?!? and in what f*cked version of english?

    When apple "prints" a imac G5 I will personally kick my own ass... and when apple "publishes" it - we will know that the USA has been conquered by those war hating genocidal germans... and as such - computers will no longer be manufactured, but published. Perhaps this whole publishing of the G5 explains why it is so late - no Quark on OSX. Until Quark for X ships, apple can't publish the G5...

    let the b*tches flame...

    Oh, I don't know about that.... Ars Technica has a story today about using an inkjet to construct living tissue. I'm not making this up!

    So maybe the G5 will have that bio-chip we've all been dreaming about. Might account for Moto's fabbing problems.

    Die Schweiz: lustig und kein Problem - mein Deutsch ist schlecht, aber nicht Scheiße... Meine Familien waren aus Wein.

    French are another story - but I imagine if I ever got in a fight there... they'd surrender the country to me.

    PS - try not to take it personally

    Thanx for your reply, which is rich in content. As far as i know is there a difference between publish and print... (publish also means "bekannt geben", isn't it?)

    But nevermind.

    1gig G4, Airport Extreme, blah blah blah. Anybody who thinks there will be a 19" screen has clearly been in Amsterdam recently.

    Vienna? All fur coats and no knickers....

    no, he means that no one visits holland for the windmills and cheese but to get stoned on high quality cannabis (especially germans, french, and americans, and canadians, and australians)

    no, he means there will never be a 19" imac, read the other threats: maybe a 20.1" imac, but i doubt it also, although i would buy one if the rest of the system is fast enough (DDR-ram, up to 1.2ghz G4

    etc.etc.)

    Well, too big and too expensive. What resolution would it be? 1600 x 1024? Apple would then be in the ridiculous situation of having to charge less for an iMac than a screen on its own with the same resolution. The marketing gods say no.

    Are you joking?

    SDR == single data rate

    DDR == double data rate.
