Hi

I'm about to get a shuffle cause I need a thumb drive, however I use mac as my main comp (and iTunes for mac), but I need the thumb drive to work with windows machines in our lab. If the shuffle is in HFS+ will it then work with windows? do I have to partion it or ??

thanks

:-)

It should work with both Mac & Windows out of the box with problems, I think. It's probably formatted as FAT.

the iPod shuffle will format to FAT32 by default, and can be used as a thumbdrive, and you're able to dictate how much space is used for music and data in iTunes.
