When the 5gb iPod mini and Asteroid then?

Well we got the main announcments today (the Mac mini and the iPod shuffle), but the 5gb iPod mini sounded like a reasonable certainty. When is the next small show type thing when we are likely to see this? I'm a bit underwhelmed by the iPod shuffle, so maybe an iPod mini will satisfy me instead.

    Is there any possibility we could see the Asteroid at NAMM in a couple of weeks? Seems kind of logical if Apple wants to woo music people

    Not sure, but they have a stand at this years event.

    NAMM would be the likely event.



    Apple did show at NAMM last year in fact they had quite a nice booth in memory serves me correct.



    Asteroid is definitely going to appeal to the hobbyist musician and Winter NAMM is the event to get a lot of press.
