I just bought a Philips LCD TV and am going to attach my Mac Mini to it. The TV has both VGA input and HDMI input. I can conntec the Mac Mini to either input on the TV... Which one would give me the best quality?

HDMI would have the best quality, but your Mac doesn't support it. Some HDMI ports are reverse-compatible with DVI so check your manual. If not, use VGA.

Look into a HDMI-to-DVI adaptor first, it will give you the better quality than the VGA. I think all should be hunky-dory.

Yeah I was going to get the DVI to HDMI adapter. Is the quality going to be a LOT better then VGA? Will anyone notice and say "Wow that's good quality"?

Nope, I doubt you'd even notice the difference between VGA and DVI. I can't tell the difference on my 18" LCD.
