They can't do that I've been sat here all day waiting and besides that would be unfair and disloyal of Apple to put their American customers first.
They wouldn't do that...look at the way they've made special efforts to produce European Sherlock channels. They really love us Europeans and want to go out of their way to do things for us.
In fact they love us over here so much they raise the prices by 50% just so we can feel more exclusive compared to PeeCee users. Now thats a caring loyal company!
Apple Store US is down!

It's about time!!
Hopefully they drop prices on the iMac really low! I'm almost ready to buy a new computer and don't think I can justify the price (or the wait) of the 17"PB.
If prices go really down, I will buy iMac/eMac instead of PowerMac.

thinksecret said $1699 for the 17" iMac. They haven't been spot on for their last few hardware predictions, so I have my fingers crossed for $1499. Who knows?
Why do I get the strange feeling that iMacs will be no lower than $1299, and emacs will be no lower than $999? This sucks.. I am usually right. ¬_¬
Our own information suggests that Appleinsiders' prices/specs are incorrect, and we expect the new models to have $1299, $1499 (15" LCD, Superdrive), and $1799 (17") price points with no CD-RW model.

That would be funny if UK/Europe got new products and our Cousins across the pond got bugger all.

Same as last week. Europe down first. Then US. But US was back up before Europe. Homeland first I think... ;-)

I can feel it in my waters.
I also felt something whilst having a Jobby...mid strain I had a vision of Steve holding a sweet new iPod.
Mine will arrive tomorrow.

iMacs already start at $1199.
Perhaps it's because you read it on ThinkSecret?
15" iMacs start at $1199 now so unless the entire line goes 17" or higher, prices should drop lower than that.

This is not good enough we want an iPod
I think people want the iMac and eMac more than the iPod. It would be nice to see a new iPod but let's be realistic here- the iMac is 13 months old.

makes the most sense.
The UK have today been crowned World Champions.
In a rare victory over the US, the UK Apple Store team were the first past the Winners Post in taking the Apple Store offline.
The Queen has asked for an informal Tea Party for the victorius Champions this afternoon.
More details as they arise.
