"Lil' Miss Combat Boot" and "Best Kept Secret" ? Joe Croker ? from "Shame Shame Shame," on iTunes. I also love Kathleen Edwards' "Failer" at the moment, also available at the Apple store.

I've been listening to Tegan and Sara's "So Jealous" album, one of Rolling Stone's Top 50 albums of the year. Mostly "Walking with a Ghost," "I Won't Be Left," "Speak Slow," and "Downtown," among the album's other great 80's inspired songs. I also have the "In Good Company" soundtrack on heavy rotation, including David Byrne's "Glass, Concrete, and Stone," The Soundtrack of Our Lives' "Sister Surround," and Peter Gabriel's "Solsbury Hill." Ryan Adams, Air, Bjork, Weezer, and Zero 7 also dot my Recently Played playlist.

It's nice to see The Dears getting some loving outside the Canadian indie-snob scene.

So with that, I'm listening to The Dears-End of a Hollywood Bedtime Story.

    "Toxic" - Local H

It's not on any album. A download from their website, a cover of Britney Spears' big hit.

    It's awesome.

You didn't ask me, but I tend to think Debut, was, and remains her best album.
