Performance Slowdown with VirusBarrier X

I installed this program tonight and my iMac is really slow. Has anyone else noticed this? My menulet is showing a high percentage for CPU usage.



Any advice?

    Something is definitely messed up. When I run Onyx the system crashes and the fans become really loud and the computer shuts down.



    I think I have a defective Mac. Help!

    Here is what I have noticed...it crashes when I have 2-3 windows open or it crashes when I try to do maintenance and update prebinding.



    I'm getting the black screen where it says power down and the fan speeds up real fast and gets very loud.



    Can someone please help me?
