Is 10.3.8 breaking iChat/AIM functionality?

There seems to be an issue with 10.3.8 where iChat cannot log into the AIM network anymore (saw it mentioned on MacFixIt: Mac OS X 10.3.8 (#3) and Macintoshian Achaia).

Can anyone shed some more light on this?

Has anyone applied 10.3.8 and found this not to happen (he/she can still use iChat with AIM)?

I would like to know because I use iChat only with an AIM account (don't have .mac) and I would HATE to loose it!

    I use iChat/AIM daily at home. Works fine for me with 10.3.8. I have it working on two macs, iMac G5 and a new 12" iBook.

    I've chatted several times after the update. No problems here.



    My machine is a PowerMac dual 1.25 G4 (FW800 model).
