Looks fake, not sure about round edges top and bottom. That would be too bubbly when closed. Cool idea, but i hope they don't think they are gonna pass that off as official. Also, how they pre-order something that Apple hasn't announced yet? Why isn't the page linked from the outside?

I'm not so sure about this one. Silver? Just think of the price!! Maybe chrome, but still who wants a shiney laptop? I wouldn't think making one like that would be good idea. Fingerprints, smudges? <img src="graemlins/bugeye.gif" border="0" alt="[Skeptical]" />

No it's plastic with chrome paint on it to stop finger prints which will end up chipping, er, oh wait, they don't do that anymore..

    heh, that was amusing.

btw, they should "update" their prices on some stuff.

    Apple Studio Display (17" flat panel) \t \t M7649ZM/A \t PRICE: 799$ US

Apple Cinema Display (22" flat panel) \t\tM8058ZM/A \t PRICE: 1999$ US

Apple Cinema HD Display (23" flat panel) \t\tM8537ZM/A \t PRICE: 2499$ US

    What a ripoff!

This is clearly a fake. The English grammar is poor. There is no indication anywhere about company information, location, etc. If you look at the main site he has set himself up as an Apple distributor. However, there are so many problems with the site you can't believe it is real. In some cases he writes prices as 100$ US instead of $100 US. He also has some big errors in the Powermac lineup. Almost certainly he is located overseas somewhere (Korea?) and is just having fun pretending to be a distributor. He is not asking for a credit card number or anything beyond name, address, email so I don't think he is malicious.

He has links to distribute Apple pdf files. I suspect Apple wouldn't like that.

He is selling the 5GB/10GB/20GB iPods for $149/$249/$349 - great prices if he will honor them.

Haha! Looks cool of course, but it wouldn't ever every be cool to have all of those smudges.. It would be a great reflector if you were stuck in the desert and.....

I am very disappointed that nobody pointed out the fact that it has no latch.

for that matter...where is the pointing device?

Soooper doooper springy spring keeps the lid closed.

For pointing you just smudge your fingers across that shiny surface till you find the active area and the cursor moves.

    Nothing to it.

duh! well yes... given it says at the bottom "(Picture from: Epix3d(www.epix3d.8m.com), it's a design not a real G5, as G5 don't exist yet.)" i think that's pretty obvious.
