You mean like Disk Utility to create the disk image, and Carbon Copy Cloner to copy it?

Don't those two apps have some problems?

Is there anything else out there??

My Maxtor HD came with Retrospect Express. That app has this feature that will clone my iMac's internal HD to a partition on the external drive by touching a button on it. Is that the kind of thing you're talking about? I imagine Retrospect Express could do what you say, though frankly, if it didn't come with the HD, I would just use Disk Utility and Carbon Copy cloner for the task. They're supposed to be better apps.

I have used carbon copy express to make clones like ghost does, and never a problem, where-as at work, we use ghost, and it seems to have more problems
