Does anybody know an app that can reverse MP3's?

    I'm not certain of this, but you may be able to get Audion to play an mp3 backwards, but not an AAC.

    I'm not aware of any free software that would allow one to reverse an AAC file.

    i think imovie will treat the audio file sort of as video and you can reverse it. highlight the audio, then go to advanced>reverse direction. i think imovie5 is still like that.

    the mp3 has to be re-converted, because reversing the playback direction is a "main" change of the file?

    I did it in imove4 by taking any video, adding the the adui trakc and then make it into a movie. The import that video and reverse it that way.



    I did this with the queen song and stairway to heaven to hear the different stuff. Google them in order to find what they say

    um, i thought quicktime could play movies (and by extension audio files) backwards. or is that quicktime pro? if you need it recorded that way, use something like wiretap pro to record the feed as it plays, then save it however you want.

    QT can play backwards. Just hit command and <- (left arrow).

    Quicktime doesn't seem to play the whole thing backwards rather it works on second variables. This is what i think i am seeing and may or may not be the reality

    Audacity (my new favority audio app besides itunes) did it really easily. I just imported the MP3, chose select all then effect>reverse
