:( not booting properly?

Instead of the apple icon at boot it changes to a er.. stop sign ...?



What does that mean?

    I have tried:



    Repairing Permissions & Disk from installation DVD

    Tried Option/Apple/O/F reset-nvram (from the faq)



    And it just sits with the gray apple/gears and then the apple turns into a circle with a diagonal line (like the ghostbusters sign without the ghost)



    Re-install time?
