apple store is down?

hey, I just tried to check my order for tiger and what I got is this...



it is 7:26 EDT in the USA



What gives??

    Just loaded fine for me. Though I assume if it is down any time soon it's because there are new powermacs right around the corner.

    This was in the order status section not the front end.

    It's like this for everyone right now. Someone on another board guessed that it may be to update all of the Tiger orders.

    It did the same thing to me when Apple was going to add the Final Cut Studio to the Apple Store. It should go down within a few hours.

    If you notice, one appleinsider member reported in a thread that the Apple order status went down last friday for a bit...and coincidentaly, a few copies of tiger had been shipped from Apple...It's deff. possible

    Well...its not hard:

    when major corporations like apple make changes their whole order infustructurer, you're talking potentialy massive amounts of space...possibly a few gigabytes. In addition, they have to test the system before they officialy post it...and they there not racing with the clock...they can post it whenever they like...
