Java 5.0 released for Mac OS X!!!

I was browsing around apple's downloads web site when I found this:

This is great news for the Mac platform as a first-class developer platform!

    hmmm, i wonder if this is going to show up in the tiger software update? its not over here...i was on the phone with apple earlier today complaining about my powerbook warpage (seems like i'm finally getting some attention paid to my case) and while i was on hold, i heard "installing tiger today? make sure you run software update to ensure you're up to date afterwards" or something like that, i'm paraphrasing here...the only thing that turned up in mine was the garageband update i've been avoiding....

    Not showing up in Software Update for me... No hurry for it though.

    It will probably not show up in SU.
