I want to reinstall Tiger but save only my Mail addresses

    to save your mail copy the mail folder in User>Library>Mail if you copy the mail folder to a CD/DIsk etc. you can then import this when tiger is installed.

    so all the settings(incomming and outgoing mail server settings) were saved?

    I did what Mac said and just took them from that and Mail is all there Addresses and all. Nothing lost! phew! Thanks again sir!
