Does this imply a new iTunes? Or will the "Shop for iTunes Products" menu item just go elsewhere??

I'd be very happy if Apple pulls this off. YARS - Yet Another Revenue Stream and good PR -- after the war, that is...

    Screed ...Mr. Typo this morning

I think the service will be available to those without iPods too. I am not confirming it. You never know with Apple but my money is on tomorrow <img src="graemlins/cancer.gif" border="0" alt="[cancer]" />

He's talking about NEW iPod, it's in the bleeding title so this is future hardware.

Whether this Tuesday thing is a undying trend remains to be seen.

My feeling is Apple doesn't have any announcements planned for the next few days. We're going to war with Iraq. Nobody's gonna care about a new music service. Maybe next week.

I'm gonna agree with this one. Tommorrow may be their last chance for a long while.

The inspectors haven't been ordered out yet, so the war can't begin tomorrow, but it will soon.

Unless Apple intends to wait another month, tomorrow seems to make sense.

Of course, I could be wrong....

the inspectors can't be ordered out, they're U.N. remember? however it has been strongly suggested they <a href="http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/2856647.stm"; target="_blank">leave.</a>

but the most important question is how this all could impact the ipod.

Ok guys. Let's keep the talk of war to a minimum here in FH. Remember that if Apple has been planning to release the iPods tomorrow, world affairs will most likely not interrupt their plans, especially when it will cost them sales.

To clarify about where the thread goes; Right now, it's being speculated that the new iPod will be introduced tomorrow, perhaps alongside this new music service. Therefore, the thread stays here in Future Hardware. When the service and iPod are introduced, it goes to Digital Hub.

Will we see new iPods tomorrow? Who knows. I've seen people speculating about this since early February, so nothing will surprise me at this point.

I have no info about iPods, but I do know that the <a href="http://www.loudeye.com/digitalmedia/solutions/musicvidsamp/top10musicsamples.asp"; target="_blank">music service</a> will not be announced until mid-April. Therefore I would assume we'll see new iPods and 10.2.5 around the same time.

    Okay, I'll <a href="http://www.extremek-9.com/images/Hard Bite.jpg&quot; target="_blank">bite</a>. How do you <a href="http://abc.abcnews.go.com/primetime/movies/bond/images/profiles/villains/bond_gal_v01.jpg"; target="_blank">know</a> this? And why the obscure <a href="http://www.puzzle-shop.de/missing-link.gif"; target="_blank">link</a> to the <a href="http://www.loudeye.com/digitalmedia/solutions/musicvidsamp/top10musicsamples.asp"; target="_blank">Loudeye music service</a>?

He's addressing the nation tonight at 8pm, it's time for war ladies and gentlemen. Tuesday is new bombs and invasions, not iPods and music services.
