how much gmail have you used?

i know a ton of us are on gmail...right now they are at 2200MB i think. how much is everyone using? are you actually throwing stuff away?

I continually hover around 5% which is about 110MB. Seems like they add storage at about the same rate I add mail. I also think 90% of what i do use is attachments that could easily be trashed.

oh, and since it might come up, PM me (or anyone, really) if you want an invite.

I still trash stuff. More space doesn't give me the excuse to be slovenly.

I trashed everything I had on there a few months ago, and I haven't checked the account since then. I don't think I really needed to add yet another email account to my life.

I trash the stuff I will never need and just let them sit in the trash until it's automatically deleted after 30 days.

Howdy, I also have gmail and i only use about 3-5% of my space... And all that space is junk mail that i've sent, recieved, ect that i havnt deleted yet....

I don't trash anything other then spam. Important for me is secure login (https

/...). An option on yahoo but not hotmail. My ex hotmail got hacked. I lost a lot of things. Then got no help from hotmail to get them back.

I did fill it up completely when it reached 2151, but I have since deleted stuff. I would be using less space if Gmail actually deleted your trash after 30 days like they claim. I'm not going to hand delete 30000 conversations. It was hard enough getting them to the trash in the first place!

I tried Gmail and didn't like it.

I currently use Yahoo Mail and I am very satisfied with it.

I didn't know they didn't do that- I went in and deleted all os the crap in the trash from back when I got the account. Now I'm down to 40 MB used.
