    Streaming Radio Wazee...

Some band called "Hammock" doing a song called "Where I Once Belonged".

I wouldn't be too offended if I never heard this song again

I've been listening to the wonderful Rabih Abou-Khalil and his Nafas album. I've been listening to his (IMHO best) album Yara for the last 2 weeks, and I'm always impressed with his playing of the Oud and the masterful tunes and the spirituality that he conveyes.

A living master of music. Brilliant.

Are we allowed to post cover art?

The Mars Volta, Deloused in the Comatorium

From the burning remnants of At the Drive-In. Obtuse and ridden with science fiction to the point that its point is hidden behind its style, but performed with enough bombast and urgency to work nontheless.

    Herbaliser, Take London

One of the few steps down Hip-Hop Lane I take anymore. The brassy qualities help me swallow this very British pill.

    Moving further back:

Coheed and Cambria, In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3

    The Raveonettes, Pretty in Black

    Black Sabbath, Paranoid

Modest Mouse, This Is a Long Drive for Someone with Nothing to Think About

    Blur, Think Tank

    Death Cab for Cutie, Transatlanticism

Prince and the Revolution, Purple Rain

    Billy Joel, 52nd Street

Anybody else diggin' the new White Stripes? I think it's their best yet, IMHO (although I was a fan of everything else they've done).

Totally different sound from before (piano instead of guitar)!

Instinct Blues -- The White Stripes

I like Kings of Convenience. It's for when one feels 'soft', or mellow, as you said.

I like their 'Winning a Battle, Losing the War' song, cuz I'm in a very similar situation right now..

As to what I'm listening to, hmm.. The Lounge Lizards - No Pain For Cakes, Live in Berlin 1.

    Listening to:

    Arcade Fire - Funeral

An awesome album, and a great band live. For a taste check out the track "Neighborhood 3 - Power Out" Sort of New Order meets REM meets ???
