With photos, on a Dell laptop.

Everything looks perfect; no remote SSL controller in the Dock, perfectly centered About This Mac text, and no especially suspicious cables.

Discuss (if this specific instance has been posted already, sorry)

BTW, "thema" means "topic", not "theme".

those photos made me throw up in my mouth. that is one FUGLY dell laptop. this is a perfect reason why apple should not let os X run on any dell. new asus laptops, maybe, vaio, definitely. dell, fuck off.

Good point. Mind you,if I was running the screen of the PB, I'd sure as hell make sure to keep it out of shot.

That said, who knows what might go through the mind of a crazed, deranged, psychotic hoaxer

"Fatty making funny" Love the movie.

What is the point of installing OS X when you can't use internet and the rest?

All you would need to do to fake that would be take screenshots on a Mac, photoshop the processor details and chuck them on a Powerpoint slideshow on the PC. Simple.

I don't think it's too wild for the Dev version to be "running" on standard commodity systems. I wouldn't expect it to be anything other than a buggy existence though. I also don't think that these hacks mean much one way or the other for the future.

Yes, that was my feeling as well.

Meanwhile, I just need to get my hands on a dev system. Just to run some benchmarks of Apple-made apps.

I'm not surprised since there is support for only one chipset.
