    well now that the dev got it working with tiger, a guy with 10.4.2 says it doesn't work.

    I use VLC a lot, and sure it's nice it's being updated, but the changes listed for 0.8.2 aren't all that interesting. The thing I want the most is just bugfixes to prevent the occasional crash.



    I take it 0.8.1 doesn't work in Tiger then? I'm planning to upgrade from Panther soonish.

    0.8.1 and 0.8.2 both working for me on 10.4.1, though 0.8.1 crashes many times, while 0.8.2 seems to be stable. I haven't used 0.8.2 all that much yet though...
