Old G4 with dual monitor problem

I finally upgraded my old G4 SP 500 to panther. I usually just use my laptop.. I have 2 monitors, one with an old PCI rage 8 meg card( for palletts) and a Rage 128 pro card for working..old I know but I don't want to invest in an old machine if I can help it. Problem!!..my small monitor just won't display anything other than crap grey pixelated 8 bit muck!.. I assumed no drivers maybe..I upgraded to 10.3.9 incase there was an issue with 10.3..no change. The system sees boths screens and I can see what there but not workable. Is there a way to get this old thing working or do I have to upgade the card. Both are old ATI cards so I don't under stand why one works and one doesn't..please help...me save money

    They worked on Jaguar?



    I don't know much about those cards so I'm moving this to Genius Bar.

    This system was on 9.2.2 before..just moved it over to 10.3 then upgraded it to 10.3.9..
