Safari mem leaks

Is it just me or does safari leak memory to an insain degree?



I just saw the most insain example of this, when I walked away from my computer ~3hrs ago safari was taking ~40 MB with only one window, not bad, that I can live with, then I come back and wake the computer up to see activity monitor tell me that the same safari window is now taking 120 MB ram...whats with that?



UPDATE Just closed and restarted the browser and it now takes 20 meg...proof positive...

    Not necessarily. What kind of page were you looking at? Did it have Javascript or any other applets on it?
