I don't think the iMac will lose the fan. CPUs and GPUs are getting hotter and hotter, so as the iMac is updated, it seems unlikely it'll become cooler.
The "fanless" thing, while a good idea (Computer noise really bugs me, especially at home) was pretty much a sales gimmick - something else to push that "the others" didn't have... or rather did have.
The slot-loading thing was a gimmick too. It limits the range of drives and suppliers if you choose to use a slot-loading design. I doubt they'll reappear any time soon, especially as the SuperDrive is going to become much more prevalent long before it becomes slimmer and slot-loading.
The original iMac design (with occassional updates and tweaks) lasted almost three and a half years. If Apple looks to get three years out of this design, I'd guess there's a good chance there'll be a bigger display attached at some point. Uh, though the original had the same display for all that time.
The other bits -
MajorMatt's (Hey there, I haven't seen you around here in ages?) right about the eject button on the keyboard.
To reset the iMac, you just hold down the power button.
Comments
1) The form factor will remain the same, so no.
2) Well, once Apple's drive manufacturers make them.
3) The great thing about the new iMac is its ability to change screens more easily. Expect a 17'' LCD in a year or so.

2) It might get a slot loading drive eventually, but I don't think so.
3) A widescreen display could happen sometime. Any type of larger LCD is a possibility.
I have a question myself... does the new imac have a restart button? I can only seen a powerbutton.

That's one thing I didn't notice whenever I played with the new iMacs. It probably does somewhere. Who needs it though if you're running OS X?
