Anyone know if the combo drive upgrade includes buffer underrun protection?

    I think I heard once that it does but I'm not 100% sure.

    Why yes, the new combo drive in the PowerBooks have buffer underrun protection.

    the iBook's combo drive: No burnproof. You've gotta pay (more) to play.
