Widgets not displaying "ripple" effect

I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this, but I learned today that when you first load a widget, it has a water "ripple" effect.

Well on both my machines (G3 and G4) I don't see that. Is there some way to enable that or does that require a G5?

Thanx

You need a compatible graphics card, which you probably don't have. My mac mini does not display the ripple effect as it has a rubbish graphics card in it.

You'll need a Core Image compliant GPU.

Core Image-capable graphics cards that do the ripple trick include...
