IPOD/CELL Phone Combo- New Product?

Today I watched GMA- Good Morning America (Rarely watch that show)and they announced that Apple was releasing a new IPOD/CELL Phone combo gadget today! Is this true? Even the news anchor lady didn't know what this new product was. Anyone have an insight on this?
