Safari 2.0.1
What's the verdict? It's mixed on Versiontracker. Then there's this: http://www.macfixit.com/article.php?...05083108084689 http://www.macfixit.com/article.php?...05083008412941 etc.
So far, Safari in Tiger has been a piece of crap. it's the crashiest version, and maybe slower and more memory-wasting than the Panther one.
Safari really hasn't done much since like .8 besides Tabs and RSS.
It doesn't even have a useful History feature, or Download window. IE freakin 5 which hasn't been updated in half a DECADE does some things better.
I reeeally hope opening up WebKit helps and people help solve a lot of this ridiculous bugginess.

Safari works fine here. It has only gotten better with 2.0.x.
Still prefer Camino/Firefox though. I guess I got used to them.

It works for me but I still see Firefox as far superior.
One thing I wish they would do is bundle the latest version of Flash. And it would be nice if Flash didn't suck too...Maybe Adobe will help that. I guess we'll find out.
Maybe.
