Can I take songs off my iPod and put them on my computer?

I went to college and have a different computer then the one that I used to put all my songs on so when I use my school computer I want to have all the songs in my iTunes library as well as my iPod. Is there a way to take the songs off my iPod and put them on my computer instead of ripping each CD all over again?

it would certainly be quite legal to transfer songs that you own from your iPod back to your computer. however, apple sort of assumes this sort of transaction makes it too easy to transfer music illegally, such as giving your friend your entire iPodmusic collection with one 'download' click. so, for us honest folks out there, we have to jump through a few hoops. fortunately, it isn't too difficult. as i-am-an-elf suggested, check version tracker ( http://www.versiontracker.com/php/se...macosx&x=0&y=0 )

    and you'll find something
