This is a good sign. When updates are coming, first the european stores go down. Like this time.

Yeah, they are back up with no changes. What gives? I think someone is toying with us.

Did they take it down to update .Mac?

If so it amazes me that they take a whole store offline to update one product. That surely can't be good for sales.

Oh this is bad. You're right. The description of .Mac at the Apple Store now includes the 1GB increase. That's all were getting today? Sheesh.

That's all weird... Now SJ's conference is over, and he was seen walking quietly in the alleys of Apple Expo. Still those black sheets too, apparently...

This is actually good news for me, I was really debating on the purchase of a new HP but I promised myself I would wait for the Paris Expo to make my decision. I really wanted a 17 Inch Powerbook with better resolution. Well descion made, thank you SJ. I just got back from the store and now have a new HP NW8240, 2.13 GHz, 2Gb of mem, 1920 X 1200 resolution and a 60 Gb 7200RPM drive. Actually the resolution is the main reason for the purchase. This thing is going to be perfect for Solaris 10.

This has been a pretty big laptop-buying year; I also just recently bought a Panasonic Toughbook CF-18. These notebook purchases could have gone to Apple but their sleeping right now so I didn't want to disturb them.

No one said it would show up in Paris. Besides, don't expect nothing more than the regular obligatory updates.
