Hiding Desktop Icons

Hi there,



Is there any way of hiding the icons on my desktop, much like you can in Windows? I have managed to reduce them to a very small size - however, I am wondering if I may hide them altogether.

    What icons do you want to hide? If it's hard drives, CDs, DVD, network drives, and such then make sure you're in the Finder. In the Finder menu select Preferences. You can control what icons appear on your desktop.

    Deskshade lets you show/hide the icons on your desktop.
