help! Nano very slow on file transfers!

in iPod + iTunes + AppleTV edited January 2014
OK. I was using my old laptop with USB1 to transfer songs from itunes and as you could expect, it was SLOW. But now that I got my new ibook the transfer are STILL going at the same speed O_O? Same as when i copy things to and from the ipod drive. The speeds are still like those of my old USB1.

Any help would be much appreciated!



edit: I'm using the normal ipod cables, latest itunes version and the newest ibook model.

    use the ipod software to reinstall the ipod stuffs and try again?
