Can you connect a Nano to a digital camera to use as memory?

Does anybody know if you can connect an iPod nano to a digital camera via USB so that you can use the nano as a memory source (card) for pictures? Or, can you connect a compact flash card directly to a nano to download the pics from the compact flash to your nano so you can free up space in the compact flash card?

Thanks in advance to all who answer.

Both Apple and Belkin make accessories to do this with an ipod photo. I don't see why it would not work with a nano.

The nano doesn't support the photo transfer accessories.

The latest generation of ipods have a chipset that supports these features. The ipod nano (to save space i would guess) doesn't not have this chipset, and therefore features like this will not be available to it.

Yes. This is also the reason you cannot sync an iPod nano over FireWire, it doesn't have a firewire chip built-in.
