Apple Computer plans to open two more retail stores in New Jersey next Spring, with one destined for The Pier at Caesars in the recently-revived casino haven of Atlantic City.

Located at the center of the city\'s historic boardwalk on a 500,000-square foot property, The Pier at Caesars project aims to transform a historic pier into one of the most recognizable international shopping and entertainment landmarks in the United States.

When it opens next Spring, The Pier\'s four floors will be home to a roster of elite retailers, including Gucci, Hugo Boss, Louis Vuitton, Armani A/X, Bebe and Burberry.

According to recent job postings, Apple also intends to be in on the action with a decent size Apple retail store slated to open along with the shopping plaza. However, checks indicate that Apple has yet to complete the lease, and therefore store size and location information was unavailable.

The Pier, which will connect to Caesars Atlantic City hotel and casino via a glass skybridge, will also be home to nine world-class restaurants, including Philadelphia restaurateur Stephen Starr\'s Buddakan and The Continental, as well as Phillips Seafood of Baltimore.

The Pier at Caesars is being developed by the Gordon Group -- the same company which helped transform Las Vegas with the Forum Shops.

Much further north, Apple has reportedly finalized a lease with the Freehold Raceway Mall in Freehold, New Jersey. There Apple will join nearly 200 specialty stores and restaurants when it opens a centrally-located first floor retail store next Spring.

The Pier and Raceway Mall locations will be New Jersey\'s eighth and ninth Apple retail stores when they open. Apple currently operates six locations across the state and is in the final stages of prepping a second-floor location in the the Westfield Garden State Plaza.

Man, am I glad I build that hotel on Boardwalk! When Apple landed there, me and my Scotty dog took in some sweet cash and now we can buy all four railroads. Now, we're just going to chill out over at our house in Marvin Gardens.
