If the rumors are true and Apple will release both a new iMac and a new PM. Which computer will Jobs introduce first??

iMac. I think since more of that cat is out of the bag it'll make for good anticipation. If the new super fancy cool neato iMac is first, what's coming next?

He should do a load of other stuff first, like apple stores, ipod is selling well, etc. so it looks like he's trying to fill up the time. Then he should bring out BOTH the imac and powermac as a 'one more thing'.

iMac, remember the "oh, and one more thing." <img src="graemlins/smokin.gif" border="0" alt="[Chilling]" />

"Oh, and one more thing..." will be the secret device.

do you people REALLY think he's gonna pull a "one more thing" again?

    I think he's gonna go ibook/imac/tibook/PM

(not necesarrilly upgrades in every column...)

he ALWAYS does a one more thing. even if it is a dumb thing like iDVD 2 for MWNY

    it's tradition.

the iMac is expected. it won't be that if there are G5 powerMacs. if there is no G5 powermac the imac will be the one more thing. very simple

Useless MW observation #34: Steve never jumps to opposite corners. He would never go from iMac to TiBook.

I think the iMac will be more importent this time so he will go iBook-&gt;TiBook-&gt;PM-&gt;iMac

    I figured low-end portable, low-end desktop, high-end portable, high-end desktop

I could be completly wrong, but going from most expensive to least expensive doesn't make much sense either. Then again, it makes more sense then going from most innovative to least innovative so...

I guess it all depends on the innovativeness of the two new machines that he releases.

    Maya 4 on X,

    Photoshop 6.5 or 7 on X,

    ++++++++

    iBook (no update)

    TiBook (no update)

    iMac

    The "One more thing"

If they tahke the new LCD iMac(sure of it) I think the apollo revision will be introduced.

Keeping out the altivec, G4 & G3 Mhz are comming closer. They need to improve the specs of the G4 or to add the G5 to the Pro line(I don't think it). Maybe a quad G4.

They'll also introduce the new "eye-caching" device. Does any one remember if they use the same words when they anounced the iPod?
