Recording Region 2 DVDs (Germany)

I have a friend who is a foreign exchange student from Germany. Every year the senior class creates a slide show of pictures from their youth a shows it at commencement. This year I took control of the project and am using iMovie to create the presentation. It will be the first year the present ation will be available on DVD. However, I realize that their are different DVD encoding regions and I wondered if a DVD I created for this foreign exchange student (on my new iMac) would be able to play on her DVD player back at home.

I know that Apple sells DVD burning computers in Germany so there must be a way to do it.

NTSC-->PAL??????????

Region 1-->Region 2????????

Thanks for your help....

Peter

    The DVD player converts the movie to a NTSC or PAL signal at playback. There should be no problem.
