iPod settlement?

in iPod + iTunes + AppleTV edited January 2014
I was wondering if anyone has received anything from apple in regards to the iPod class action lawsuit. My battery life is really bad on my 3rd gen 15gb and I really need a new battery. I sent in my claim about 3 days after it started and have heard nothing back as of yet and it has been almost 2 months since the approval of the settlement.

    I have not heard anything yet either. Not even an acknowledgment.

    Apple has decided to appeal the settlement, so don't hold your breath waiting for a check or credit.

    What jerks. The thing that upsets me is that Apple must have known that their batteries did not last as long as their claims. Now they aren't coming clean on their mistake.
