Did Apple pull it or BB cut it?

When did sold out mean that they'll never carry it again?

Also bestbuy just like and 3rd party apple seller makes next to no money on apple products, trust me.

They had to stop carrying it because carrying it meant they actually had a product that qualified as a "Best Buy" to some potential customers. Best Buy is required to carry only over-priced, under-spec'd hardware. At least, that's been my experience.

Best Buy has had a long, sad history of carry Mac computers and then not caring enough about actually promoting them. They say "we sell Macs!" and then stick them in some obscure place that nobody can find them. I knew they sold them, but never did see them at my local store.

Im not sure that they actually 'sell' them, but there is one at my local BB. They only have the mini, and it is plonked in the middle of a long row of PCs. You hardly notice it, its just too small and plain to stand out amongst the large loud machines the overwhelm it.

CompUSA might seem pretty feeble, but at least they have a mac section, with all of the models represented, and specialist mac sales staff.

Yeah, but what's the Best Buy to CompUSA ratio nationwide?
