Formac MVA v.s. Apple flat panel display

Can anyone compare quality of image/text presentation between Formac's Gallery 1740 MVA (Multi-Domain Vertical Alignment) flat panel display & the currently shipped 17" Apple Studio Display?

    MacWorld rated the formac above the studio display... that it's using new tech, side by side they said they could see a slight improvement... + it's 200 cheaper.

    I saw a Formac attached to a G4 tower at a store in France in December, and was extremely impressed. Unfortunately there was not an Apple LCD close to it to compare directly. The screen size is slightly larger than the Apple(17.4" vs. 17.0" I believe). And the price difference makes it quite attractive.
