Would such a class need to address where this intelligent designer came from?
No, actually that's a big *wink wink, nudge nudge* thing they are doing with intelligent design. I've seen advocates say with a straight face that it might not necessarily be a god, maybe just an advanced alien race. Then, of course, when you ask who designed the aliens they smile and shrug their shoulders.
Still we wait for someone to tell us what testable predictions ID would make and the evidence produced to support it. (No, the flagellum doesn't qualify as the Intelligent Lottery theory example demonstrates).
There is not even intelligent life on this planet.
Why would some intelligent designer design such crap?
Teeth that rot, hair that falls out, sexual urges that can make you into a killer, hunger, SUVs, Bush, the pope, muslims, jews, osama, global warming, greed, oil, reptilien brain, bird brain (oops flu)...need any more proof that ID can not exist?
