PCIe work with old software programs?

Will older programs work on the new PCI express cards?



Trying to decide between purchasing a 2.0 dual and a 2.0 dual core. Most of the programs I will be runing are older. However, I do want to start editing a small amount of video.

    Er, PCI-e versus AGP has nothing to do with how programs run, except PCI-e will allow your graphics card to work more efficiently in graphics-intensive programs like Motion or Final Cut..
