I don't have any actual proof of this, but it seems that DivX decoding doesn't take quite as much processor power. I just downloaded the new codec and watched a couple HD trailers in full screen with no problems on my 1.67 G4 PB. HD movies in H.264 on my PB sometimes hesistate a little.
