Shipped today

My girlfriend's ordered her iMac superdrive Thursday and it shipped today! We're both excited....especially since the apple web site said 3 to 5 weeks.

    Same for me! I ordered Thursday and it shipped today! Only 3 business days, pretty good if you ask me. I can't wait until it arrives

    Yeah I agree. Did you purchase the apple care protection plan? My g/f did and it said it shipped the next day. She got all excited when she saw partially shipped but then read what it was. I think its dumb to ship the protection plan seperate.

    Nope. I didn't purchase the protection plan. I probably should have... Oh well. Can you purchase it later in the future?

    I always buy those protection plan about two months before the one year warranty expires.

    Ah. Good. That sounds like a good idea. I will do that sense I don't want to be stuck with all kinds dead pixels and so on.

    Unless you have a lot, Apple won't do anything about dead pixels.

    Well ya, if it gets to that point I want to have it under protection so I wont have to pay to get it repaired.
