Will any version of Quicktime let me see wmv or avi files?
Window's player for the Mac won't seem to load on my iMac, and to be honest...I'd just as soon get rid of everything Microsoft on my 'puter anyway.
Like, which version of QTime is needed for Mpeg4?
I was going to ask about Real files as well, but I don't know if that's an option outside RealPlayer and that thing is so terrible.

For some reason, WinMediaPlayer just refuses to boot up on my machine. Perhaps my Mac knows something I don't and won't let it?
I own the previous version of VPC, but the thing runs so slow, I can set my sundial by it.
Never tried Flip4Mac - guess I'll have to give it a go.
Thanks again!
With the latest version, I'm permanently deleting my WMP 9. So long, sucker!
Only downside, Quicktime doesn't have an icon for .wmv files, so it just shows you a generic icon, boohoo!
