USB 2.0 HD, cannot write on Mac

I got a HD built in a usb 2.0 case. Now i can do anything with it in XP, but only read on the MAC. In the info it says it has now writing priviliges...now, how can i fix that?

How is the drive formatted?

It is probably NTSF. OS X can only read a NTSF drive, not write to it. If you want cross computer compatibility, I suggest you use FAT32. (AKA. DOS)
