Why will my bank website work with Firefox, but not with Safari?
Because there's lots of people using Firefox (even on PCs) and fewer using Safari, so Firefox support is low-priority for the bank.
Why the bank (or rather, the web designers that are writing the web application for the bank) does not use standard HTML and javascript which would work on all browsers is beyond me.
My bank is even worse. They display the data using an ActiveX table control (like html doesn't have table tags) so I'm out of luck unless I use Internet Explorer on Windows.
