People still use Mac OS 9 as their primary or secondary system. Just because some people have the latest and greatest, doesn't mean people still have old hardware and software.

FTLOG -- If you still use OS9, just buy a new Mac, a Mini can pretty much keep up with or smoke anything running OS9 nativly (sans the last OS9+osx Powermacs) and it is cheaper than an iMac circa 1999, even if you add in a KB/Mouse/display!
Some people must be ruthlesly cheap to the point of stupid.
