Each time I copy and past something from the internet and try to alter it in Microsoft office, it keeps hyper-linking me to the web-page I got it from. Is there any way to turn this off?

    In Word 2004...

    Format Menu --> Autoformat

    Select Options

    Deselect "Internet Paths with Hyperlinks"

    Do the same thing under the "Autocorrect as you type" tab.

    Hope this helps.

    Or do it EASILY in TextEdit and then put it into Word. Gawd MS makes things so easy.
