New beta of Google Maps

The new beta which is now supposed to support Panther, no longer runs on my PowerMac G4 (Sawtooth model). I get the message: "Your graphics card does not meet the minimum spec required to run Google Maps." The earlier beta ran fine on my Mac. I definitely understand that they cannot support old cards. Too bad, I am going to miss playing with Google Maps.

    You could just reinstall the old one.

    Oops, I spoke too soon. I did not read the complete message. All I had to do was press the "esc" key to dismiss the message.



    By the way, I meant "Google Earth", not "Google Maps.



    It runs fine.

    Link? The Google Earth page still lists 10.4 in the min sys reqs.
