powermac g4, fuse blowing in plug

ive got a powermac g4, the one with the mirroed doors and firewire 800. this morning i went to turn it on and nothing happened, so i checked it was all plugged in and switched on and still nothing. i changed the fuse in the plug, thinkin that might have gone. the fuse just blows as soon as i plug it in. has anyone got any idea whats going on here?

    This is a hardware fault. There's probably something broken in the power supply. Only fix is a replacement of the broken part, sorry.

    You tried a different outlet? A known-good power cord?



    Try plugging something else into that outlet (like a lamp) - does it work?

    All UK plugs have a fuse in them (and have three pins). I think it's mandated by law.
