Blackberry users in here?

I have a new Blackberry 7130e (Verizon) coming to me and will be in my hands on Monday morning.

I have heard that iSync does not work like my current Moto phone does (contacts).

I hear PocketMac does the trick and I actually own PocketMac for PDA's so I may check into that later.

My questions, anyone here using iSync to sync address book to the 7130?

Any experiences with the phone you would like to share?

How about loading an AOL IM compliant app on it?

The reports on the internet are sparse and I can't weed out the fanboy from the unobjective. I trust that AI.com has never had any fan boy reviews so that is why I am here, I trust you guys/gals.

Don't those things have a chance of becoming useless if the government shuts them down???

No, they have a work around. But, no way they get shut down because too many in D.C. use these. By many, I mean seantors and the such...

The court decision exempts government officials from service disruption.
